WordPress 3.6 is out. The upgrade has some fun new features including full revision saving, no more losing words between your auto-save and crash.
I ran into a WordPress 3.6 upgrade glitch on some of my websites. They ended up hanging at a screen that said the site was offline for routine maintenance. Not sure exactly what happened, but was able to re-force everything at it worked.
This WordPress upgrade takes longer than usual point-one upgrades. Prepare to wait 60 seconds or more for this one to complete.
However, it does seem that everything goes smoother and faster if you upgrade Akismet BEFORE you upgrade WordPress to 3.6.
