Calligraphy is about writing the word beautifully.
I’ve always done calligraphy but never tried to go down that avenue as something that might earn money or otherwise generate revenue. Copperplate is one of the most commonly requested calligraphy styles with its flowing letters, but I’ve always preferred the old block style like you would find in Middle Ages documents. Mostly Western calligraphy from that time period is written in what they call Latin Script.
When I have the time, I’m going to delve into this further. You can’t email someone calligraphy. Well, I suppose you could email a picture of calligraphy, or if you got the right brushes for your iPad and Procreate or Adobe, you could sort of do electronic calligraphy. Maybe there is something to that idea.
